AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE MUSIC DEPARTMENT AND JAZZ BAND OF THE ALAMOGORDO BRANCH OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to expand and enhance the music department and jazz band at the Alamogordo branch. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
