AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR SUPPORT OF THE TASK FORCE TO END HUNGER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty thousand dollars ($40,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the income support division's work with the task force to end hunger, including salary, benefits, office costs and expenses. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
