AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE NEURODEVELOPMENTAL INTERDISCIPLINARY DIAGNOSTIC CLINIC AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO, INCLUDING ITS PROGRAMS IN AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for neurodevelopmental interdisciplinary diagnostic clinic programs, including diagnostic evaluations for children with autism spectrum disorder and telemedicine consultation for autism spectrum disorders. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
