AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CREATE AN AEROSPACE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 and succeeding fiscal years to create an aerospace engineering department. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
