    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 576, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 10, between lines 12 and 13, insert the following new section:

     "Section 6. APPLICABILITY.--The provisions of this act apply to a person convicted of a capital felony on or after July 1, 2005.".

     2. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.
