AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO DEVELOP A SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER IN SOCORRO AND CATRON COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the commission on higher education for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the New Mexico small business development center at Santa Fe community college to develop a small business development center in Socorro and Catron counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
