    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 464

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 21, after the period insert "The public education department and the program shall ensure that the training of recent college graduates leads to their licensure as level 1 teachers in New Mexico. By December 2005, the public education department and the program shall evaluate the effectiveness of the teacher training and the employment of the recent college graduates and report to the legislative education study committee its findings, including recommendations regarding the potential for statewide implementation of the program.".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
