AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A SENIOR CITIZENS EMERGENCY ASSISTANT AGENT FOR THE RIO RANCHO MEADOWLARK SENIOR CENTER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty thousand dollars ($40,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the aging and long-term services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to pay for a senior citizens emergency assistant agent for the Rio Rancho Meadowlark senior center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
