    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 440, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. Strike Consumer and Public Affairs Committee amendments 1 and 2.

     2. On page 2, line 12, after "released" insert a colon and the paragraph designation "(1)".

     3. On page 2, line 13, strike "or" and insert in lieu thereof a semicolon and the paragraph designation "(2)".

     4. On page 2, line 13, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof "; or

                (3) when necessary to provide treatment, payment and operations in accordance with the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.".
