AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE NEW MEXICO SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED FOR PROPERTY ACQUISITION AND SUBSEQUENT CONSTRUCTION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six million nine hundred thousand dollars ($6,900,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the New Mexico school for the blind and visually impaired for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to acquire property and develop plans for subsequent construction of a new facility. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
