AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR NON-CREDIT WORK FORCE TRAINING AT NEW MEXICO'S COMMUNITY COLLEGES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the commission on higher education for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to fund eligible public community college non-credit work force training courses and programs to help retrain New Mexico's work force in high skills and high wage occupations. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
