AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY FOR THE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred forty-one thousand dollars ($641,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of western New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the purpose of maintaining the network for web-based teacher licensure at western New Mexico university. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
