AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE NURSING PROGRAM AT WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred eighty-four thousand three hundred fifty dollars ($584,350) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of western New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to expand the bachelor of science nursing program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
