AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LEGISLATIVE FINANCE COMMITTEE TO PERFORM AN ACTUARIAL ANALYSIS OF THE STATE'S RETIREMENT FUNDS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION--ACTUARIAL ANALYSIS OF STATE'S RETIREMENT FUNDS.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the legislative finance committee for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 for the purpose of performing an actuarial analysis of the state's retirement funds. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
