AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY TO ESTABLISH A LIVESTOCK JUDGING PROGRAM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to establish a livestock judging program within the college of agriculture and home economics. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
