    Your LABOR AND HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 178

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, line 8, strike "five dollars fifteen cents ($5.15)" and insert in lieu thereof "five dollars sixty cents ($5.60)".

     2. On page 2, between lines 24 and 25, insert the following new section:

     "Section 2. APPLICABILITY.--The provisions of Subsection B of Section 1 of this 2005 act apply to wages earned on or after July 1, 2005.".,

and thence referred to the BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE.
