AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE CENTER FOR BORDER AND INDIGENOUS EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2006 to support the center for border and indigenous educational leadership. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2006 shall revert to the general fund.
