Mr. Speaker:

    Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 32

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 4, line 12, after "B." strike the remainder of the line and insert in lieu thereof "State agencies".

     2. On page 4, line 13, after "school" strike the remainder of the line.

     3. On page 5, line 17, after the period strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 18 and 19 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof:

"Any unexpended or unencumbered balance in the energy efficiency and renewable energy bonding fund shall revert to the general fund at the end of a fiscal year.".

     4. On page 6, line 9, after the period strike the remainder of the line strike lines 10 and 11 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof "Amounts that revert to the general fund from the energy efficiency and renewable energy bonding fund may".

     5. On page 13, line 3, strike "in the amount of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000)".

     6. On page 13, line 5, after "Act" insert:

"in an amount necessary to make the required bond debt service payments pursuant to the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Bonding Act as determined by the New Mexico finance authority".
