A MEMORIAL

DECLARING KIDS NEW MEXICO'S NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.

     WHEREAS, our children are our most precious resource and represent the future of our state; and

     WHEREAS, we also live in what consistently is deemed one of the worst states to raise a child; and

     WHEREAS, in an effort to raise the consciousness of our citizens to the plight of our children;

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that kids are New Mexico's number one priority.
