SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Joint Resolution 9 proposes to amend
Article 10, Section 2 of the constitution to allow all county officers to serve
three instead of two consecutive terms before they are ineligible to hold
county office. The amendment proposed
by this resolution would be submitted to the people for their approval or
rejection at the next general election.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The Secretary of State
estimates a cost of $40.0 for the general election.
