SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 191
appropriates $376.3 thousand from the general fund to the Board of Regents of
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $376.3
contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any
unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY05 shall revert to
the general fund.
ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS
The WNMU Board of
Regents submitted an athletics program request of $1,672,700 to the CHE. The expansion request funds were to have been
used to add three additional sports so the school and Pac West Conference could
remain compliant. The expansion request,
however, was not included in the Commission’s recommendations for FY05 funding.
