SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 567 proposes to
amend the Election Code to change the hours of operation of early voting sites
in non-Class A counties. Currently,
county clerks in medium and small population counties are required to operate
early voting sites Tuesday through Saturday.
This would change those days of operation to Tuesday and Thursday from
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
There are no significant fiscal implications
associated with this bill.
