SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 295 appropriates $400 thousand from
the General Fund to the Environment Department (ED) to study State ambient air
quality standards.
Significant Issues
The results of this study may require funding to
ameliorate any negative findings.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $400.0 contained in this
bill is a non-recurring expense to the General Fund. Any unexpended or
unencumbered balance remaining at the end of Fiscal Year 2006 shall revert to
the General Fund.
ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS
ED should be able to
fulfill the requirements of this bill with existing staff.
