SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 20 appropriates $230 thousand from
the general fund to the Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) for FY04
and FY05 for continued operations of the
The bill contains an emergency clause. The bill provides any unexpended or
unencumbered balance at the end of FY05 shall revert to the general fund.
Significant Issues
Funding for all juvenile facilities is contained
in the CYFD budget recommendation.
ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS
According to CYFD, the department “will provide contract administration to support the procurement and
monitoring of services.”
