SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 427
appropriates $23 thousand from the general fund to the local government division
of DFA for the purpose of supporting a community project in

The appropriation of $23
thousand contained in this bill is a non-recurring expense to the general fund.
Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005
shall revert to the general fund.
TECHNICAL ISSUES
The terms “community
project” in line 19 is vague. The bill
should be amended to provide specifics of what will be done so that Legislators
can properly assess the bill.
