SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 210 amends §50-4-22 NMSA 1978, to
clarify the minimum hourly wage for tipped employees shall not be less than
$5.15 per hour, including tips.
Additionally, employees who regularly receive
more than $30 per month in tips shall be paid a
minimum wage of $2.13 per hour versus the $2.125 per hour set in current law.
This bill also makes several minor technical changes to §50-4-22 NMSA 1978.
