FOR LIBRARY ACQUISITIONS FOR NEW MEXICO HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for acquisitions for the eastern New Mexico university library in Portales in Roosevelt county;

• to the board of regents of New Mexico highlands university

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for acquisitions for the New Mexico highlands university library in Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

• to the board of regents of New Mexico institute of mining and technology

six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) for acquisitions for the New Mexico institute of mining and technology library in Socorro in Socorro county;

• to the board of regents of New Mexico state university

six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) for acquisitions for the New Mexico state university library in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;

• to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico

six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) for acquisitions for the university of New Mexico library in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and

• to the board of regents of western New Mexico university

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for acquisitions for the western New Mexico university library in Silver City in Grant county.
