STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR RATON IN COLFAX COUNTY.

 

 

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

 

to the department of environment

 

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for a feasibility study for and to plan, design and construct a solid waste system for Raton in Colfax county;

 

• to the department of transportation

 

forty thousand dollars ($40,000) for road improvements to Santa Fe trail road from Grant avenue to Sugarite avenue in Raton in Colfax county; and

 

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

 

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for improvements to and to purchase and install equipment for the parks in Raton in Colfax county;

 

one hundred eight thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($108,250) to plan, design and construct additional space and to renovate existing space for a facility for youth and family services in Raton in Colfax county;

 

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for improvements to city-owned facilities, including the Shuler theater, the Raton museum and the old Wells Fargo building, in Raton in Colfax county; and

 

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for improvements to the convention center in Raton in Colfax county.
