SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 79

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2004

REQUESTED BY Stuart Ingle

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN ROOSEVELT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of transportation

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for road improvements, including chip sealing and reconstruction, in Roosevelt county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for road equipment for Roosevelt county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for phase 1 improvements at the youth pavilion at the Roosevelt county fairgrounds;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for improvements, including upgrading the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system and constructing the kitchen, at the multipurpose facility at the Roosevelt county fairgrounds;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to plan, design and construct restroom facilities at the special events and rodeo arena at the Roosevelt county fairgrounds;

two hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($225,000) for chip sealing and repairing of parking lots and midway grounds at the Roosevelt county fairgrounds;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for phase 2 improvements at the youth pavilion, including constructing restrooms, a concession area and floors, at the Roosevelt county fairgrounds; and

sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) to plan, design and construct an addition to the extension office in Roosevelt county.
