IMPROVEMENTS FOR
I request that the following capital
outlay projects be funded:
• to the department of environment
three million fifty thousand dollars
($3,050,000) for upgrades to the wastewater treatment plant facility in
• to the local government division of
the department of finance and administration
three hundred twenty-five thousand
dollars ($325,000) for purchase of a class "A" pumper fire truck for
the fire department in
thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000)
for replacement of a fire hose for the fire department in
one
million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) for city-wide improvements
to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 in
three
million six hundred ninety-six thousand dollars ($3,696,000) to plan, design,
construct and equip a veterans' center in Las Vegas in San Miguel county; and
• to the office of the state engineer
