AN ACT

RELATING TO THE PUBLIC PEACE, HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE; MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR PURCHASING AND EQUIPPING VEHICLES FOR THE NAVAJO VETERANS' TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighty-six thousand dollars ($86,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of transportation for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 for purchasing and equipping vehicles for the Navajo Nation veterans' transportation system in San Juan and McKinley counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
