AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE COUNSELING SERVICES FOR NAVAJO WOMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to provide counseling services for Navajo women and their families. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
