AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ESTABLISH THE HOBBS EDUCATIONAL CENTER OF EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred forty-five thousand dollars ($145,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to establish an educational center in Hobbs that offers bachelor's and master's degrees in education and a master's degree in business administration. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
