AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR STAFF AND OPERATING EXPENSES TO THE

OFFICE OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL STUDIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 for salaries, personnel and operating expenses for the office of archaeological studies in the museum of New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
