AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTRACT FOR YOUTH PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE PREVENTION TRAINING FOR USE AND ABUSE OF ALCOHOL, TOBACCO AND ILLEGAL DRUGS IN CERTAIN NEW MEXICO NAVAJO COMMUNITIES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to provide programming for youth to prevent use and abuse of alcohol, tobacco and illegal drugs in the New Mexico communities of Shiprock, Tohatchi, Pinehill, Alamo, Tohajiilee, Dzilthnaodithle and Crownpoint. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
