AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR THE PEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 for the pediatric oncology program at the New Mexico health sciences center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
