AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE A REIMBURSEMENT RATE INCREASE FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS IN THE MEDICAID DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES WAIVER PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 for the purpose of providing a reimbursement rate increase to developmental disabilities service providers under the developmental disabilities medicaid waiver program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
