AN ACT
MAKING GENERAL APPROPRIATIONS AND AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATIONS--FISCAL YEAR 2005.--
A. The following amounts are appropriated from the general fund to the following agencies for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 for the following purposes:
(1) two million eight hundred forty-six thousand seven hundred dollars ($2,846,700) to the legislative finance committee for personal services and employee benefits for the staff of the committee; provided that expenditures shall be disbursed on vouchers signed by the chairman of the committee or his designated representative;
(2) one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) to the administrative office of the courts to fund drug courts in district courts; and
(3) one hundred sixty-five thousand eight hundred dollars ($165,800) for personal services and employee benefits for the department of finance and administration.
B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balances of appropriations provided in Subsection A of this section shall revert to the general fund at the end of fiscal year 2005.
Section 2. SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION--FISCAL YEAR 2004.--Two hundred thirty-one thousand four hundred dollars ($231,400) is appropriated from the general fund to the general services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 for personal services and employee benefits. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
