AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPORT PROGRAMS FOR FAMILIES OF INMATES AND REINTEGRATION PROGRAMS FOR INMATES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the corrections department for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to fund programs to provide support groups and coping skills for families of inmates and to provide reintegration skills and support for inmates. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
