    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 422, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 3, line 5, strike the second occurrence of "and".

     2. On page 3, line 8, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof a semicolon and "and".

     3. On page 3, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following subsection:

          "G. the powers conferred upon the authority pursuant to the provisions of the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority Act shall be deemed to be the same powers, and not an expansion of any power, that were held by home rule municipalities and counties before the enactment of that act.".
