AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO YOUTH CONSERVATION CORPS COMMISSION TO SUPPORT NEW MEXICO YOUTH CONSERVATION CORPS PROGRAMS IN NORTH CENTRAL NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico youth conservation corps commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to contract with a nonprofit organization for the purpose of supporting New Mexico youth conservation corps programs in north central New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
