AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR THE MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred forty thousand dollars ($340,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 for the incremental expansion of the manufacturing engineering special project funding for phase two operations of the manufacturing training and technology center clean room of the manufacturing engineering program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
