AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO VETERANS' SERVICE COMMISSION TO TREAT VETERANS WITH LUNG DISEASE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred twenty thousand dollars ($320,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico veterans' service commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to treat veterans with lung disease. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
