AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE AREA OF THE GIBSON BOULEVARD REDEVELOPMENT PLAN.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 for the middle Rio Grande council of governments to prepare an infrastructure and redevelopment plan to improve and enhance job creation along the Gibson boulevard corridor, including Kirtland air force base, Sandia national laboratories and the Lovelace area. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
