AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO SUPPORT AVAILABILITY OF PHARMACY SERVICES IN PRIMARY CARE CLINICS IN RURAL AND MEDICALLY UNDERSERVED AREAS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million two hundred thousand dollars ($1,200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to increase the number of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy services available in primary health care clinics, in rural and medically underserved areas of the state, pursuant to the Rural Primary Health Care Act. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
