AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE STATE MATCHING FUNDS FOR ALTERNATIVE FINANCING PROGRAMS TO HELP PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES PURCHASE ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY DEVICES AND SERVICES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred nineteen thousand dollars ($519,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico technical assistance program of the vocational rehabilitation division of the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to provide state matching funds for alternative financing programs to help persons with disabilities purchase assistive technology devices and services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
