AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE CASH BALANCES OF THE PREVENTION AND HEALTH PROMOTION PROGRAM FOR THE STATEWIDE SMART MOVES YOUTH SMOKING CESSATION PROGRAM.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two million dollars ($2,000,000) is appropriated from the cash balances of the prevention and health promotion program of the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to continue the statewide smart moves youth smoking cessation program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
