AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO REPLACE FEDERAL FUNDING FOR DRUG COURTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred seventy-two thousand one hundred dollars ($472,100) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the courts for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to replace federal funds for juvenile drug courts in the third, eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth judicial districts. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
