AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO PROVIDE DENTAL CARE FOR INDIGENTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to provide funding for a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing dental care for indigent patients in various New Mexico communities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
