AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EXPAND NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY'S RURAL HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred sixty thousand dollars ($260,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to expand the cooperative extension service rural health awareness program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
